You may study online at www.lytespeed.net The cost is $39.99 or 49.99 and it is good for 30 days of study time from the date first opened, 7 days a week.
Live exam preps are held several times a month for both Life and Fire. They begin at 9:00 and end at about 4:30. The cost of each class is $20.00 CASH at the door for In-House students (no checks, no credit cards). If you a not a LyteSpeed Student, the fee for a Llive Exam Prep is $ 125.00. If you are an online Pre-licensing student, the cost is $69.00. You will also need to present your pink receipt that you were given at the time of enrollment. You need to submit an application to the state in order to take your test. This can be done through the mail or online. Lytespeed will assist you in submitting your application for a $20.00 fee. You must have an appointment in advance if you would like us to do your application. To submit your own application go to www.insurance.ca.gov. The charges to the state at this time are $175.00 paid by credit card online only. Effective July 1st, 2010 the California Department of Insurance will be dropping this fee to $165.00.
