California has  mandated that licensed life insurance agents and anyone holding a Life, Accident, Sickness, or Health (LAHS) license take approved continuing education courses every two years. Yet recently, with the passing of SB263, life insurance agents are required to take additional coursework to sell specific products.  In particular, Cash Value Life Policies, Annuities and Variable Life Insurance Products.
